I chose Ott & Lee because Sheila Gates had been such a close friend of my mother and family for years. From that first dreaded “it’s time” phone call, Sheila left me reassured that I had done the right thing for my mother, Mrs Bobbie Anita Means. When Tim and Ricky came out that early Saturday morning to my house to pick up my Mom, they were very professional, compassionate and understanding. I knew she would be treated with dignity and respect. Tony helped my brother and I make arrangements and gave us all the time we needed to make informed decisions. I must say my mother was always beautiful in life and she was now beautiful with her eyes closed peacefully during visitation. I was amazed and knew she would be pleased. Many watched the DVD a lot of praises Tony for your patience with my pics you put together an amazing DVD tribute. Many watched on line and spoke of how sweet the service was. Thank you to all at Ott and Lee including Jonathan and Mrs Erma.

Cham was a gift from God to our family before, during and after my brother’s funeral. He just did things that we would have never thought to do and was just always there in the moments when we needed him most. I just can’t say enough about him. He’s beyond compassionate. I’ll never forget his kindness.

Putting together the photographs for entry into the film were just perfect , despite the changes and additions we kept sending you it turned out a superior job.
The two gentlemen who picked Ian up from home handled him with care and put my mind at rest that they would take good care of him, I thank them for that.

It turned out that my precious Ian was still with you when we came to the office and you gave us an opportunity to see him once more. He went from a man in pain to a man in peace, he had a semi smile on his face, eyebrows trimmed and his hair groomed all ready to meet the Lord.

He went so far out of his way for us, including coming in early for us, staying late for us, and providing every single thing we needed, even before we knew we needed it. He gave us such a great amount time and assistance. No matter what we asked for in those three to four days of working with him, his answer was always a heartfelt, “Yes.” And Cham delivered it all not only flawlessly but with sincere care and gentle kindness. This man is our hero. He deserves a metal for his service to our baby boy and to our family. Even a few weeks after my grandson’s funeral, Cham, waiting for the right time, texted my daughter asking if he might send her some photos that he’d taken. These were taken just before the service, in the final moments of goodbye when only Cham, my daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters were there to lay our baby in his casket. So there was no one else there to take a photographic memory of that. However, Cham, unbeknownst to us, made certain that precious time was captured.
Our family is so grateful to Ott and Lee for their beautiful facility, their dedicated staff, and their great service and benevolent generosity to our family. We thank you so much. And regarding Cham Davidson, we will never, ever forget him. We received superior care from everyone at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Mr. Barnes was very attentive and went out of his way to make certain every detail was perfect. Also, Mr. Barnes and Mr. Strebeck made us feel that our family and the care of my mother were of utmost importance! The whole process was very well organized, lovely and dignified.
