Willie Griffin

Willie Junior Griffin, age 72, and a current resident of Kilmichael, MS, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

The Newton County native was a retired supervisor for Lady Forest Farms in Forest.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie Austin and Anna Ruth Johnson Griffin; one grandson: Devin Mitchell Griffin and two sisters: Carolyn Ann Griffin and Betty Joyce Tatum.

Survivors include his wife: Shirley Ann Watson Griffin; two children: Loris (Randy) Dees and Willie Leroy (Kathy) Griffin; one adopted daughter: Teresa Ann (Jimmy) Palmertree; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one sister: Anna Geraldine Easterling; several nieces and nephews also survive.
