Sylvester Gray, 86, of Pelahatchie, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at a local nursing home.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon. Interment will follow in Holly Bush Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00pm – 7 :00pm Friday, October 16, 2020 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon.
Sylvester was born in Rankin County, MS on June 20, 1934 to the late Robert Rule Gray and Birdie Massey Gray. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
He retired as a Grader for Davis Poultry Company. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Sylvester is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lillian Allen Gray; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Donald Coley; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Dana Gray; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
