Robert Morris Wheeler, 75, died peacefully at his home on Fri. March 26, 2021 with his loving wife and two dogs by his side. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS handled arrangements.

Mr. Wheeler was born on Mar. 14, 1946 in Washington, DC to the late Henry Paul Wheeler III and Bernice Morris Wheeler. He grew up in Silver Spring, MD. Mr. Wheeler served his country in the U.S. Army serving as a Telcom Specialist at Camp David for President Lyndon B. Johnson. He worked for Vickers/Siemens. Mr. Wheeler also worked for Raytheon where he retired after 32 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Kathye Wheeler; two sons, James Paul Wheeler (Kayla) and Davis Thornton Young; four grandchildren, Elliott Wheeler, Emersyn Wheeler, Dylan Young, Ainsley Young and a brother, Henry Paul Wheeler IV (Sandy). Mr. Wheeler is also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Wheeler.
