Richard Mitchell

Richard Henry Mitchell, age 81, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Mitchell was born October 23, 1940, to Paul Mitchell and Margaret Demastus Mitchell. He was married to Linda Edwards Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was a hairdresser for many years and loved serving his clients. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Mitchell and Margaret Demastus Mitchell; sister, Paula Cook and brothers, David Mitchell and James Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Linda Edwards Mitchell; children, Richard Mitchell, Jr., Jeremy Mitchell (Monique), Sheri Dawn Mitchell, and stepdaughter, Eve Rainwater; grandchildren, Laramie Mitchell, Judy Mitchell, Victoria Mitchell, and Cole Atlie Mitchell; his fur baby, Napoleon; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
