Richard Cherry

Richard “Stan” Cherry, 74, passed away on Thurs. Sept. 9, 2021 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Sept. 14, 2021 from 5pm-5:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Tues. Sept. 14, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Cherry was born on April 21, 1947 in Watsonville, CA to the late Richard Freeman Cherry and Doris L. Frye Cherry.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Cherry; brother, Harvey Cherry (Lena); four daughters, Michelle Langley (Darrell), Paula Wilmoth (Michael), Lyn Burris (Brad) and Christy Walker (W.T.); son, Zach Cherry (Jessica), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and his pet dog, Tina Marie. Mr. Cherry was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne F. Cherry.
