Patsy Millis

Patsy Leona Goodwin Millis, age 61, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at Ridgeland Place in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment at Slay Cemetery in Lena, MS. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Millis was born September 27, 1959 in Scott County, MS to J.D. Goodwin and Frances Slay Goodwin. She loved to work in her yard and to sing and dance with George Straight playing in the background. She enjoyed singing in her family trio “Shamet’s” from time to time. Patsy loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Millis was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. Goodwin and Frances Slay Goodwin; sister, Louise Moss; her brother, Johnny Hall and her beloved pet, Zeus.

Mrs. Millis is survived by her daughter, Jessica Millis (Nam) Truong; sisters, Charlene (Daniel) Ennis, Debra (Bob) Flanders and Mary Hall; 3 grandchildren, Hayes Khai Truong, Liam The Truong and Caleb Vy Truong; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
