Madelyn Sylte

Madelyn Bourne Sylte, age 64, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

A Celebration of Madelyn’s Life will be 11:00am Thursday, June 22, 2023, with visitation starting at 10:00am from Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.

She was born in Jackson, MS on March 27, 1959, to Billy Don Bourne and Carol Sumrall Bourne. Madelyn worked as a Legal Secretary, was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl, and absolutely loved the beach.

She was preceded in death by her father Billy Bourne, sisters Tambra May and Judy Bourne Peagler.

Madelyn is survived by her mother Carol Bourne, children Michael Deaton and Stefanie Sylte, two grandchildren, sister Constance Bourne Barrentine, other relatives and friends.
