Leona Westbrook

Leona Kyzar Westbrook, age 88 of Brandon, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at UMMC Hospital in Jackson.
A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
She was born in Scott County, MS on March 30, 1933, to the late Thomas D. Kyzar and Cassie Taggert Kyzar.
Leona was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, wife, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Danny Westbrook; and husband, Cortez Westbrook.
Leona is survived by her daughter, Angie (Sam) Plunkett; son, Dennis Westbrook; brother, Jimmy Kyzar; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of friends and other relatives.
