Mrs. Bounds worked as a Customer Service Representative for 22 years for UnitedHealthcare. She was a member of Grace Bible Church in Ridgeland, MS. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life, especially time with her two granddaughters.
During this time, the family is comforted by Judith’s faith in the Lord Jesus, her favorite Psalm (121) of God’s provision, and the quote of D.L. Moody-"Some day you will read in the papers that D.L. Moody of East Northfield, is dead. Don't you believe a word of it! At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now; I shall have gone up higher, that is all, out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal—a body that death cannot touch, that sin cannot taint; a body fashioned like unto His glorious body."
Mrs. Bounds was preceded in death by her parents, John Hemby and Mary Grace Winstead May and sister Johnnye May Witzmann.
Mrs. Bounds is survived by her husband, William Harold Bounds; son, Brent Edward (Emily) Sheppard;daughter, Mary Majors; brother, Wayne Sutton (Beth) May; two beloved granddaughters, Sarah Cathryn Sheppard and Ellen Elizabeth Sheppard and a host of friends.
