James Flickner

James O. Flickner, 82, a resident of Pearl, MS, passed away Wed. Sept. 2, 2020, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Private Services will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

James was born in 1937 in Kenlock, MS to the late James Andrew Flickner and Mamie Worsham Flickner. He was retired from the State of Mississippi and  the Mississippi Air National Guard.

James is survived by his wife, Tommie Ann Flickner; two daughters, Valerie Torrence (Bryan) and Tamara Lyons (Rusty);  son, Steve Flickner (Laurie); 7 grandchildren, Sarah Torrence Hubler (John), Jennifer Flickner Clark (Billy), Thomas Flickner, James Flickner, Andrew Lyons (Abigail), Emma Kate Lyons, Laura Ann Lyons and 2 great grandchildren, Banes Clark and Henry Clark. James is also preceded in death by his sister, Thelma Hairston.

The family would like to thank the medical staff, caregivers, and friends for the support and prayers through the years.
