Hillard G. Armstrong, 69, passed away on Sun. Sept. 12, 2021 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Sept. 18, 2021 from 11am-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Sat. Sept. 18, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Glenn was born and raised in Shaw , Ms . He was in the National Guard. He worked for Connerly Construction for over forty years until his time of retirement. After retirement he enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He loved video chats with the grandkids. He worked his puzzle books , jigsaw puzzles and collected quarters. He watched his great nephew Bristol on game changer playing baseball. He was a great supervisor whether at work or home. He was known for helping others. He always had to have the last word even up until his final moments.

Proceeded in death by his father, Roy Armstrong; mother, Birtie Armstrong and his sisters, Jo Ann Shows and Linda Everett.

Glenn is survived by his two sons, Glenn Armstrong (Susan) and David Armstrong and daughter, Tonya Armstrong; grandchildren, Katlyn Armstrong, Brooklyn Armstrong, Dominic Dolph, Sophie Armstrong, Emma Armstrong; great granddaughter, Ella Armstrong; brother, Lavell Armstong; nephews, Brent Shows (Brandy) and Oathen Everett, niece, Kim Bowman(James); a host of great nephews and nieces and a special friend, Genia Armstrong.

The Family would like to thank Mississippi Home Care for many years of care and also Jackson Pulmonary.
