Frank Arbuthnot Cain, Jr., age 78, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Cain was born September 30, 1943, in New Orleans, LA to Frank Arbuthnot Cain, Sr. and Katherine Voellker Cain. He was married to Julia “Ann” Barry Cain.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force and Air Guard a total of 20 years of service. He also worked for Natural Resources Conservation Service-USDA. Mr. and Mrs. Cain grew up together thru college and went their separate ways to be reunited in 1985 at a class reunion and married in October 1986. He was an avid bass fisherman, animal lover, a loyal, supportive, and handsome husband who was a fun-loving guy that enjoyed reading, a good cold one when he grilled a marvelous steak. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Arbuthnot Cain, Sr. and Katherine Voellker Cain.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Julia “Ann” Barry Cain; daughter, Karen E. (Milt) Alberstadt; son, Frank ”Trey” Arbuthnot (Kali) Cain, III; sister, Kathy V. Brandt; brother, Gordon R. (Kathy) Cain; four grandchildren, Chip Alberstadt, Ella K. Cain, Caleb Cain, and Alexis Cain; brother-in-law, Leland Felix; nephew, Lance Felix; special nephew, Dr. Marshall Cain; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family would like to thank Drs. Sheeley, Hogan, III, Mallette, Moremen, Sheehan, and Suggs.
