Edna Griffin

Edna S. Griffin, age 85 of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at MS Baptist Hospital in Jackson.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with Dr. James Brown officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Lake, MS.

She was born in Forest, MS on January 15, 1937, to the late Anderson Smith and Ethel Weeks Smith.

Edna loved growing and arranging flowers and writing songs. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Edna is survived by her husband, Walt K. Griffin; children, Pam Jackson, Bobby McElhenny, Teresa (Tim) Webb, and Cindy (Kenny) Stokley; grandchildren, Wendy, Shauntae, Destini, Jason, Cacey, Brandon, Chance, Josh, Rachael, and Reannon; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
