Dorothy Ellen Tullos

Dorothy Ellen White Tullos, 95, passed away Sat. June 5, 2021 at her home in Brandon, MS surrounded by her entire family. Visitation will be held on Tues. June 8, 2021 from 5pm-7pm and on Wed. June 9, 2021 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Wed. June 9, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Tullos was born on May 22, 1926 in Hazelhurst, MS to the late Eugene and Jeffie Lee Bailey White. She worked at the General Electric Company. Mrs. Tullos touched the lives of many children by serving in the nursery at First Baptist Church Brandon, MS. Every child was an extension to her own family. She loved each one as her own. Mrs. Tullos was also a charter member of Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon, MS.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, William Aaron Tullos; son, Donald Aaron Tullos (Cindy); three daughters, Elaine Tullos King, Laura Tullos Alford (Richard) and Amy Tullos Dial (Tim); 10 grandchildren, Malisa Walters (Drew), Leslie Smith, Holly Moncrief (Joe), Cassie Alford, Zachery Tullos (Marley), Evan Dial (Rachel), Landon Dial, Adria Alford, Brooke Alford and Carlton Mitchell (Paige); 4 great grandchildren, Taylor Walters, Abigail Smith, Wheeler Mitchell and Hudson Dial; her sisters, Joy Christelle Davis, Carolyn Young and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Tullos is also preceded in death by her sister, Marie McCain and two brothers, Daryl "Buddy" White and Bobby White.
