David Clark

David N. Clark, age 84 and a lifelong resident of Scott County, died Friday, May 28, 2021, in Carthage following an extended illness.

Visitation will be held from 10am till 11am Saturday, May 29, 2021at the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with a graveside service to follow at Sims Cemetery in Morton.  Rev. Bobby Boyles will officiate.

David was born on November 27, 1936, in Homewood to his parents, Mack Nary Clark and Nora Barnes Clark.  He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.  He was a self-employed poultry and cattle farmer.  David loved the outdoors, was caring, kind and he loved his family.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dortha Clark.

Survivors include his children; Jimmy Clark (Priscilla) of Forest, Teresa Aust (Eddie) also of Forest, Donald Reed (Sunny) of Pearl, Donna Clark (Thomas) of Forest, and John Pollard (Renita) of Amarillo, TX.

Pallbearers are his grandchildren: Joe Clark, Jesse Clark, Bryan Kittrell, Jason Kittrell, Matt Aust, and Mason Aust.
