Carol Lee Evans Lacey, 75, passed away at her home in Pearl, MS on Sun. Nov. 28, 2021. Visitation was held on Wed. Dec. 1, 2021 from 12pm-12:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services were 1pm on Wed. Dec. 1, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial in the Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Lacey was born in Jackson, MS on June 5, 1946 to the late George Evans and Alice Quinn Evans. She was a Christian lady and a mother who loved her husband and children very much. Mrs. Lacey was a cosmetologist, a seamstress, a hairdresser and an office manager for Lacey Digging. Her hobbies were working in her garden and she also loved to cook.

She is survived by her husband, Joe W. Lacey; 8 children, Troy Blackmon (Michelle), Forrest Blackmon (Amy), Jaya Grayson (Greg), Resha Badke (Fred), William Lacey (Iris), Darlene Hays (Glenn), Jerry Lacey (Emily) and Timothy Lacey; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Helen Crothers and Ann Herrington. Mrs. Lacey is also preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Rainey and 7 brothers and sisters.
