Bro. John Norman Sanders was born in the Shady Grove community of Attala County, Mississippi on December 13, 1930. He passed away at his home in Madison County, Mississippi on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the age of 90. Bro. Sanders loved the Lord and served Him as a preacher of the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ with, The Assembly of God, for 65 years. His demeanor was that of one who loved people, reminding us of the scriptures, to love all people and the abiding of faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love. Woodworking and carpentry were favorite pass times.

He is preceded in death by his parents: John Vincent Sanders and Lera Pearl Rosamond Sanders.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Euna Mae Wilkinson Sanders; four children: Gary W. (Peggy) Sanders; Janice C. (Victor) Hughes ; Kenny J. (Julie) Sanders and Tina M. (Kacey) Rhodes; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister: Mary (Percy) Greenlee; two brothers: Clay (Barbara) Sanders and Kacey (Susan) Sanders; and a host of other family members and friends.
