Billy Smith

Billy Paul “Tiny” Smith, age 53, and a longtime resident of Pelahatchie, Rankin County, and a current resident of Union, passed away the day after Thanksgiving, November 26, 2021 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.

A native of Morton, and a 1986 graduate of Pelahatchie High School, Mr. Smith was a mechanic by trade, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding. He a Christian by faith and was affiliated with Leesburg Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Walter Taylor and Kathy Darlene Stewart Smith.

Survivors include his wife: Sharon Nikolaisen Smith; two brothers: Keith Smith and Chris (Pam) Smith; two nephews: Jody Smith, Keith Smith, Jr.; two nieces: Rylye Smith and Raylin Smith; his step-mother: Mrs. Mary Jean Smith; and his companion: Kimberly Platt.
