Alma Louise “Lou” Gharaee

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. " Proverbs 31:28

Lou went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 16th, 2021.

Lou was born in Canton, MS, to the late James Wesley Frazier, Jr. and Ena Mae (Winstead) Ray on June 6, 1956. She was a devoted wife of 45 years to Nasser. Together, she and Nasser ran multiple successful businesses, which allowed her to also be a homemaker. Lou’s passion in life was her family. She was a loving mother to their three children Mona, Cameron, and Sara, and a beloved “GiGi” to four grandchildren, Sullivan, Sebastian, Waverly, and Cyrus – all of whom were all the center of her universe.

Lou was a spiritually-enlightened believer who was also in love with her earthly experience. She was always excited to travel the world with her family, to learn, and experience new things. She was intelligent, witty, carefree, young at heart, and loved music. She taught herself to become fluent in her husband’s native language (Farsi) to be able to communicate with his family. It brought her great joy to plan and host any type of celebration for her loved ones, making every single gathering a joyous, love-filled occasion.

We will always remember Lou for who she was: a ray of sunshine that brightened any room.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Nasser; children, Mona (Justin), Cameron, Sara (Chris); grandchildren, Sullivan, Sebastian, Waverly, and Cyrus; two sisters, Joan King, and Carol George, as well as countless other family members and friends who will also deeply miss Lou’s positive, powerful, and uplifting presence.

There will be a private family service held on Saturday afternoon, August 21. Please feel free to share your memories or send flowers for her service by visiting ottandlee.com.
