Willie Louise Lewis Rodgers

Louise Lewis Rodgers, 98, a resident of Pearl, MS, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Her earthly birthday became her heavenly birthday on December 11, 2025.

Mrs. Rodgers was born on December 11, 1927, in Puckett, MS. She was a resident of South Jackson before moving to Pearl in 2011. Mrs. Rodgers was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Byram, MS.

Mrs. Rodgers was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James B. Rodgers; her son, David Rodgers; her father and mother, Willie and Ollie Lewis and her two brothers, Pat Lewis and Ronnie Lewis. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Tim Carmichael of Pearl, MS.

Visitation will be held on Mon. December 15, 2025, from 9am-11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside services are 11:30am on Mon. December 15, 2025, at the Puckett Cemetery in Puckett, MS.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Enhabit Hospice, especially LyQuita Hopkins, Josie Quimby and Mindy Shirley for their love and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the Puckett Cemetery Fund.
