SERVICES: GRAVESIDE ONLY 10 AM SATURDAY, AUG. 20, 2011 AT RICHLAND CEMETERY.
THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION
William C. “Billy” Oldham, 80, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 10 am Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Richland Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Oldham was a native of Carroll County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He retired from Western Electric in 1983 after many years of service. Mr. Oldham was a member of First Baptist Church in Richland and was a Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Airstream International Camping Club and the Mississippi Trailer Club. Mr. Oldham was an avid outdoorsman and loved being a
“handyman”, working in his garden, flowers and yard. He was also an avid reader, especially reading westerns.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sara Oldham of Richland; daughter, Judith Forshee (Bickham) of Richland; son, William C. Oldham, Jr. of Richland; sister, Sarah Roark of Benton; grandchildren, Matthew Courtney (Cathy) of Richland and Joshua Oldham of Richland; great grandchildren, Aydan and Gracie Courtney of Richland.
