William Morris, Sr.

Heaven gained another angel on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 when William Oliver Morris, Sr., age 77 entered into the presence of his Lord. Mr. Morris was a native of Hazlehurst and lifelong resident of Rankin county and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in Vietnam Survivors include his children, William Oliver Morris Jr., Tammie Morris, and Candace Morris; grandchildren; Amber, Billy, and Oliver III; great granddaughter, Amira; and brother Gene Morris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Osbon Morris; daughter, Sherli Morris Frith; his father William Earl Morris; mother Flora Mae Stevens; and his sister, Earline Roberts.
