William Calvin “Bill” McLelland, Jr., 75, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at his home in Pearl, MS.  A visitation will be held 5 until 8pm Friday, September 16th at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Bill was born on June 9, 1947, in Brookhaven, MS to William Calvin McLelland, Sr. and Wilma Lee Floyd McLelland.  Bill owned and operated a service station in Brookhaven for many years.  He later moved to Pearl, MS after he married Martha Whittington.  He worked at Positive Pest Control for over 40 years.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Whittington McLelland; son, William Calvin “Trey” McLelland, III; step children, Joseph Thomas Wall and Necie Joeannia Franklin and her significant other, Chris Knowles; sister, O’Lynda Lee McLelland Walker and her husband, Denver; grandchildren, Nathan Bradley McLelland, Hailee Michelle McLelland Ard, Michael Corey Wall, Deidra Leanna Perry, Jennifer Noel Wall, Thomas Mitchell Wall, and Karah Nicole Byrd; great grandchildren, Hayden James Ard and Adaleigh Grace Ard.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Franklin and Jessa McKenzie Byrd.
