Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton and Sunday from 12pm-2pm at the funeral home.
Chapel service will be held 2pm Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Graveside will follow at Ludlow Cemetery.

Wanda Louise Fitzhugh, born on March 7, 1942, in Jackson, MS, passed away peacefully at her home in Lena, MS, on January 8, 2026. She was an embodiment of kindness and generosity, known for her vibrant smile that had the remarkable ability to light up any room. Wanda had a big heart and dedicated herself to others, exemplifying love and care in all aspects of her life.
Throughout her life, Wanda enjoyed making crafts and took great joy in helping with Bible school at Ludlow Baptist Church, reflecting her deep faith and commitment to her community. She loved hosting family gatherings, where her warm spirit and infectious personality brought everyone together, creating lasting memories.
Wanda is survived by her children, Richie Fitzhugh and his wife, Lisa of Forest, and Kathy Allen and her husband, David of Ludlow. She cherished her role as a grandmother to eight grandchildren: Candice Grayson (Andrew), Mandy Holmes (Josh), Haelie Wooten (Mitchell), Chay Allen, Aaron Fitzhugh (Ashley), Joseph Fitzhugh (Katie), Kimberly Wooten (Kyle), and Ron Fitzhugh (Christian), as well as twelve great-grandchildren: Zayleigh Grayson, Ethan Massey, Lawson Holmes, Enslee Holmes, River Rigdon, Aubrey Allen, Charlie Kate Wooten, Luke Wooten, Vada Fitzhugh, Sadie Jo Fitzhugh, Paisley Wooten, and Ezra Wooten.
She is also survived by her sisters, Beverly Reinhardt (Kenny) of Brandon and Cindy Mills (Ronnie) of LA, along with her brother, Terry Crane (Marilyn) of TX.
Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Earl Fitzhugh; her son, Ronnie Fitzhugh; her parents, Charles Woodrow Crane and Hazel Irene Thornton Gibson; her brother, Gary Crane; her sister, Charlene Robinson; and two great-grandchildren, Asher Wooten and Lucy Fitzhugh.
Wanda's legacy of love and compassion will continue to resonate through the lives she touched and the family she cherished deeply. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
