Wanda Jean Smith

Age 64, and a resident of Morton passed away on September 3, 2025 in Morton surrounded by family.

Wanda was born in Pensacola, FL on October 6, 1960. She worked for the Scott County School District for 12 years, Sunflower Market and B. C. Rogers where she met countless friends and lifelong relationships. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening with her husband and sitting on the porch enjoying the company of family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Jacky Smith; her son Ashley (Jelanda) Smith, Sheree (Matthew) Engle; sister Sheila Williams; seven grand children, three great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Pat Williams; father Donald Pittenger; stepmother Sarah Williams; stepfather Clyde Williams.

Funeral services will be held Saturday September 6, 2025 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton from 1pm to 3pm. Service will be immediately after at 3pm following a graveside service at Piney Grove Cemetery in Polkville. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
