Wallace Roland Howle, 94, joined his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 5, 2022. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday at First Baptist Fannin with visitation starting at 9:00 am. There will be a 2:00 pm graveside service following in Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, MS.
Mr. Howle was born Neshoba County, MS to Robert Perry Howle and Cleopatra Loveless McCarty Howle on March 13, 1928. He was a member of First Baptist Fannin, and he had a strong Christian faith. He loved working in the yard and reading his Bible. Mr. Howle retired from the US Airforce after 23 years of service. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He also retired from the State of Mississippi Agriculture Department.
Mr. Howle loved his family and will be missed by all. Survivors include his sons, Bert Howle, Larry Howle (Cile), and Ray Howle (Jeanie); brother, Keith Howle (Martha); eight grandchildren, Sandy Howle, Natalie Howle, Brooke Warnock (Rudy), Madison Mitchell (Zach), Justin Howle, John Scott Banks, Chelsea Boulware (Chad), and Shelby Dowdle; and seven great grandchildren, Taylor Warnock, Blake Warnock, Landon Warnock, Zoey Mitchell, Ryder Dowdle, Brock Boulware, and Owen Boulware. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Betty Irene Howle and his second wife, Patsy Pauline Howle; and siblings, Paul Howle, Kathryn Rowzee, Billie Boehne, and Berma Jean O’Neal.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to First Baptist Fannin Church, Building Fund.
