With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Vivian Ann Robinson, who departed her earthly home on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the age of 68, after a courageous five-year battle with dementia.
Vivian was born on May 20, 1957, in Forest, Mississippi, to Vernon and Bobbie Robinson. She lived a life marked by love, resilience, and grace. Known for her quick wit, contagious laughter, radiant smile, and immaculately kept home, Vivian brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.
She found peace and happiness in life’s simple pleasures—soaking in the sunshine, listening to her favorite music, and sharing time with family and friends. Vivian also built a successful career in finance, working over 30 years in the industry—from her early days at First Family Financial to her retirement from United Credit.
Vivian is survived by her devoted children: Vickie Hollingsworth (Justin) of Brandon, Mississippi; Christie Moore (Chris) of Florence, Mississippi; and Randy McGee of Forest, Mississippi. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Parker, Hutson, Hayz, Maggie, and Millie Ann. Also mourning her loss are her siblings: Gary Robinson (Sharon), Cathy Ables (Darrell), and Jeannie Savoie (Ronnie), along with seven nieces, two nephews, five great-nieces, eight great-nephews, and a host of extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Bobbie Robinson; her sister, Sherry Vanskiver; and grandparents, Robert & Classie Mae Croxton & Claude & Verassie Robinson.
A celebration of Vivian’s life will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest, Mississippi. Visitation will take place from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at Antioch Cemetery.
Vivian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit and love will remain in our hearts forever.
Ott and Lee Funeral Home is honored to serve the Phillips family during the time of their loss.
