Vincent "Vince" D. Brummett, 54, of Brandon, MS, passed away on February 14, 2024. He was born on September 26, 1969, in Oxford, MS to Don and Evelyn Brummett of Batesville, MS .

Vince was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Clelon and Irene Brummett (MS), his aunt Dianna Brummett, his maternal  grandparents George (Dude) and Bernice Hall (MS), his uncle Carl Hall, and his aunt Dolly Warren.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tracie Brummett, four daughters: Abby Brummett, Rylee Brummett, Addie Kate Brummett, and Izzy Brummett, his parents, Don and Evelyn Brummett, his sister Valerie Kennedy (John), and two nieces, Haley Hubbard and Buanna Hubbard.

Vince began his career as a Radiologic Technologist at BMH-NM in Oxford, where he provided compassionate care to patients. Vince served the Oxford, Panola County, and Lexington, MS communities, making a positive impact on countless lives.

In 2017, Vince achieved a significant milestone by earning his Master's in Healthcare Administration. This accomplishment propelled him to leadership positions, including CEO of Parkwood in Olive Branch, MS, and Chief Administrative Officer at Merit Health Central in Jackson, MS. He also served as the Director for Behavioral Health for Merit Health, a role that allowed him to pursue his passion for mental health and support his hospital families. Vince believed that every employee had unique gifts to offer the community, and he encouraged them to apply those gifts in their work.

Outside of his professional life, Vince had a deep love for his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but when his daughters came along, he willingly gave up those hobbies to prioritize spending time with them. His daughters were his world, and he cherished every moment with them.
