Vickie Lynne Vance

Ms. Vickie Lynne Vance passed away on the evening of December 29, 2024 at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation will be held at Ott and Lee in Forest on Friday, January 3rd from 5:30-8pm. A second visitation will take place Saturday morning from 10-11, followed by the funeral service at 11 in the chapel. Burial will follow in Pea Ridge Cemetery with a private family graveside. 

To know Vickie was to love her. She LOVED to cook and was always trying to feed an army. She knew how to do anything. From hunting, to fishing or sewing, I’m pretty sure she could figure out how to perform surgery if needed. She was definitely a “jack of all trades,” but most of all she was a wonderful mother, Nana, aunt, and the best friend you could ever have. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her loved ones, especially her children and grandchildren. Though we are all saddened by her loss, we know she has been made anew and is no longer suffering! Vickie is so loved and will always be remembered.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Maggie Jane Dennis; her father, Willie D. Dennis; two brothers, Tommy and Timothy Dennis.

She is survived by her children, Matthew Harrison (Shana), Michael Harrison, John Reese (Rashell), Carrie Forsythe (Colby), and Sierra McNeil; grandchildren, Mason, Lucas, Andrea, Autumn, Bentley, and Adleigh; she also leaves behind a whole heap of friends and family.

Serving as pallbearers will be Timmy Dennis, Colby Forsythe, Glen Cockcraft, Davy Vance, Darrel Anderson, Sammy Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers are Brian Boykin, Mickey Barnett, Tommy Dennis Jr., and Peewee Burnham.
