Vicki Gainey

Vicki Lynn Gainey, 67, a resident of Brandon, MS, passed away Mon. Oct. 19, 2020 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Due to COVID 19 memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced when finalized. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Gainey was born in Jackson, MS on April 16, 1953 to the late Clyde and Dagma Camp Griffith.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Gainey of Brandon, MS; two sisters in law, Wynette McBeath of Vicksburg, MS and Debra Gainey of Brandon, MS; two brothers in law, Malcom Gainey of Union, MS and Charles Knight of Meridian, MS; aunt, Macie Graham of Petal, MS and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and many friends. Her husband, Jimmy always said "To know her was to love her."

Mrs. Gainey loved animals and the family ask that any donations be made to the Mississippi Animal Rescue League at 5221 Greenway Drive Ext. Jackson, MS 39204.
