Mr. Truman Bell, a longtime business owner and resident of the Ephesus Community was born February 25, 1947 to his parents, Huey Q. Bell, Sr. , and James Minnie Bassett Bell. He passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Scott County and used car dealer since 1972. Mr. Bell served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Christian by testimony of his faith and a member of Ephesus Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon and a former Sunday School Teacher. An antique car collector, Mr. Bell was also a member of the Central Mississippi Trail Rider Association and held membership with the Pioneer Wagon Train where he served as Wagon Master.

He is preceded in death by one granddaughter: Cheyanne Hollingsworth; his parents; six siblings: Robert Bell, Dorothy Sumrall, Marvin Bell, Bertha Bell, A.C. Bell, and Kirby Bell.

Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Charlotte Phillips Bell of Forest; one son: Roger T. (Paula) Bell of Forest; three daughters: Elizabeth (Ladell) Wicker of Florence; Rebecca (Brad) Hollingsworth of Forest and Jenetta (Rodrico) Hill of Forest; nine grandchildren: Harley Bailey, Dale Wicker, Suzanne Waggoner, Wilson Bell, Hannah Hollingsworth, Tanner Bell, Tucker Bell, Wesley Bell, and Case Wicker; one great-grandchild: Steele Elson; one brother: Huey Bell, Jr of Forest; three sisters: Vertie Virginia Loper of Brandon; Madge Mayfield of Forest and Lynette McTurner of Mesquite, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Ephesus Baptist Cemetery Fund, 3535 Ephesus Rd., Forest, MS 39074.
