Trudie Bell Shoemaker

     Mrs. Trudie Bell Shoemaker, age 90, a resident of Morton, MS, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 in Morton, MS.

Born, March 2, 1933 to, Simp and Agnes Fitzhugh Lampkin. Mrs. Trudie was a Christian and a member of Line Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed working, "yard work", her Church and her family, Mrs. Trudie is preceded in death by her parents, Simp and Agnes Lampkin, husband, Rudolph Shoemaker; four brothers, Bill, Jack, Tom, and Jimmy Lampkin; four sisters, Irene Fortenberry, Zelene Fitzhugh, Mavis Stewart, and Beatrice Fortenberry.

     Mrs. Trudie is survived by one son, Randy Shoemaker, daughter-in-law, Janet Shoemaker, grandson, Corey (Anna) Shoemaker; two great grandchildren, Lachlan Shoemaker; Brady Shoemaker.  Visitation will be 5:00pm to 8pm Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton; The Funeral Service will 10:00am, Thursday, Sept 21, 2023 at  Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS; interment will be at Line Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
