Thomas Mangin

Thomas David Mangin, age 64, a resident of Raymond, MS passed away at Merit Health River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:30 pm Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with a 2:00 pm Sunday graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.

Mr. Mangin was born February 23, 1956 in Jackson, MS to Charles Eugene Mangin and Wilma Lee Yandell Mangin. He was married to Sybil Diane Fellow Mangin. Mr. Mangin worked many years as a welder in the iron working industry before retiring. He loved hunting, fishing, drag racing, and go-cart racing. He enjoyed playing tennis and was ranked #4 in the state in his teenage years. He loved his family and friends very much. Spending time with them and entertaining brought great joy to his life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Mangin was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Mangin is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sybil Diane Fellow Mangin; stepsons, Gene Williams and Andy Williams; sisters, Marilyn Eade and Beth (Les) Bryant; brothers, Geoff (Martha) Mangin and Bob (Mary) Mangin; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
