Thomas Currie Hudson

Thomas Currie Hudson, 71, passed away on Mon. Sept. 4, 2023 at Merritt Health River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. Sept. 8, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and from 1:30pm-2:30pm on Sat. Sept. 9, 2023 at Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2:30pm Sat. Sept. 9, 2023 at Meadow Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS.

Mr. Hudson was born on July 16, 1952 in Canton, MS to the late Thomas Henry Hudson and Grace Brown Hudson. He was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS where he served on the security team. Mr. Hudson enjoyed racing and Alabama Football, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hudson; three children, Tommy Cockrell, Johnny Cockrell (Sara) and Jeannie Saia (Jereme); four grandchildren, Chelsey Cockrell, Page Cockrell, Parker Saia, Lynnix Saia and two sisters, Paula Ellis and Diana Klotz. Mr. Hudson is also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Hudson.
