Teresa Mason

Teresa Darlene Mason, age 61, a resident of Carthage, MS but formerly from Brandon, MS passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A memorial service will be held at1:00 pm Friday, April 22, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mason was born on July 1, 1960, in Ruleville, MS. She was married to Cecil Maurice Mason. She loved making a home for her family. She was a great wife to her husband, wonderful mother to her children,and an excellent grandmother to her grandchildren. Mrs. Mason enjoyed being with family and friends and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and JB “Shorty” Grantham, and her brother, Robert Daniels.

Mrs. Mason is survived by her husband of 38 ½ years, Cecil Maurice Mason; children, William Edward McBride, Tera Harris and her husband Bill, and Kala Teater; grandchildren, Garrett Teater, Gracie Teater, and Hunter Teater; brothers, Rex Grantham, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Grantham, and her sister, Kaye Taylor; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
