Tammie Massey

Ms. Tammie Massey, age 54, a resident of Morton, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Jackson, MS. Born on March 17, 1968 to Bennett Arthur and Mozell Frazier Massey.

Tammie lived all her life in Morton, she was a graduate of Morton. After graduation she helped her mom run and operate The ABC Daycare. Hobbies of Tammie was talking to her friends and keeping up with main events, watching movies was another pass time, she loved horror movies and Halloween, she would decorate her whole house and yard for her daycare kids and have loads of candy for everyone.  She also enjoyed search puzzles.

Visitation for Tammie will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS, and on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:50am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am in the Ott and Lee Chapel, in Morton, MS. Bro. Tal Vardaman will officiate the service and Kent Pickett will be speaking.  Burial will be in Sims Hill Cemetery.

Preceding Tammie in death were her parents, Bennett Arthur and Mozell Massey. Survived by sister, Terri Porter,(William), brother, Ray Massey, (Jackie); several nieces and many friends.

Funeral Services are entrusted with Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Martin, Jake Pickett, Zac Porter, Cole Crawford, Brian Massey and Scott Herrod.
