Sylvia Barnes

Heaven opened its doors for one of God's faithful children on June 14, 2018. Sylvia S. Barnes has gone to meet her Lord and Maker-something she has looked forward to since she became one of his faithful servants. She leaves behind her husband, J.W. Barnes; her two daughters, Cynthia and Tara; her four grandchildren, Chase, Alana, Analise, and Ezequiel; her two son-in-law’s, Charles and Washington; a devoted Shih-Tzu, Maggie; and many loving family members and friends. A Celebration of life will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00am from Pelahatchie Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Barefoot Springs Cemetery.
