Stuart Mason Robertson

August 1, 2001 — April 5, 2026

Brandon, MS

Stuart Mason Robertson, born on August 1, 2001, in Flowood, Mississippi, left this world far too soon on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi as the result of a tragic accident that occurred after leaving work at Marcello’s —a place he truly loved and where he found a second family. In the span of his just over twenty-four years, Mason bore a light—a warm, vibrant presence—that touched all who had the privilege to know him.

Mason's journey through life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and quiet strength. Those who knew him recall a spirit alive with curiosity and kindness, a soul who embraced the world's wonders with open arms and an unyielding heart. Mason was a well-mannered Southern gentleman who never met a stranger. His presence had a way of lighting up any room, and his genuine warmth made everyone feel welcome.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Mason played soccer from childhood through his graduation from Brandon High School in 2020. He also had a deep love for football and enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams with friends and family. He was a proud and loving big brother to Jack and was affectionately known as “Uncle Stuey” by his niece and nephew, Oaklie and Nash, bringing joy and laughter into their lives. Above all, Mason was devoted to his family—especially his mother, proudly calling himself a “Mama’s boy,” a title he wore with love and honor.

His memory will be honored during a visitation on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi, followed immediately by a memorial service beginning at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Mason is cherished deeply by his living family: his devoted parents, Katie and Wally Northway of Brandon, Mississippi, and Derek and Teesha Robertson of Pearl, Mississippi; his beloved siblings, brother, Jack Robertson and his sisters, Whitney Wright (Johs), Krista Johnson, and Jayme Bell. The tender joys he brought to his niece, Oaklie Wright, and nephew, Nash Wright, were immeasurable. His legacy is further embraced by his grandparents, Laura and Richard Allen of Brandon, David and Dottie Butts of Tupelo, Majie Ranson Northway of Ridgeland, Charles and Linda Northway of Columbia, MS, and Patricia Dennison of Sautier; his great grandmother, Katherine Butts of Oxford; his aunts and uncles, Amanda Moore (Sam), Rodney Allen, Niki Allen, Wayne Northway (Jenny), Beth Powell (Kirk), Mary Elizabeth Butts, and Laura Hunt; along with a host of cousins and countless friends, including his girlfriend Kayla Childs, who loved him dearly.

In reflecting on Mason’s life, we remember not only the person he was but also the boundless potential that was his. Mason’s love for life, his infectious smile, and his unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten. The world feels a little dimmer without Mason in it, but his bright spirit will continue to shine through the countless lives he touched.

May his spirit find peace, and may those who loved him find comfort in the echo of his laughter, the light of his smile, and the enduring strength of his love. Stuart Mason Robertson remains with us—forever remembered, forever missed.
