Shirley Crenshaw Thrasher, 78, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, January 27, 2024.  Visitation will start at 12 Noon Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS, until the 2pm service in the chapel.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.   

Shirley was born in Kosciusko, MS on August 2, 1945, to Ernest Lee Shields and Frances Martin Shields.   Shirley had a distinguished banking career at Trustmark National Bank.  She was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Florence, MS.

Survivors include her children, Lisa C. (Forrest) Sammons, Willie Crenshaw, David (Sheila) Crenshaw, Sissy Williams, and Joe (Joan) Crenshaw; sister, Martha Poelzl; eleven grandchildren, Anna Attkisson, Nick Attkisson, Christy Wells, Haley Hall, Emit Crenshaw, Brandy Crenshaw, David Crenshaw, Jr., Jessica Holeman, Michael Williams, Brandon Crenshaw, and Drew Crenshaw; ten great grandchildren; and a niece, Beverly Keene.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Charles Crenshaw and Bobby Thrasher, and a brother, Ernest Lee Shields, Jr.
