Shirley Fay Beemon

Shirley Fay Parker Beemon passed away on August 22. 2024 at the age of 76, preceded in death by her parents: Walter Jeremiah and Willie Elizabeth Robinson Parker, siblings; J W (Doris) Parker, Charles (Margaret, surviving) Parker, Geraldine (O B) Wilkerson, Geneva (Russell) Porter, Elois (Leon) Chandler, Sally (Leo) Porter, Pauline (Mac) Martin, Mary (James) Stewart, Bonnie (Robert) Wilbourn, Lavern (Leon) Wilson.

 She is survived by her husband Billy Ray Beemon. Their four children; Billy Scott (Rhonda) Beemon, Laura Olievia {Mitchell) Redfern, Helen Michelle Beemon. And James Destry {Mandy) Beemon. Twelve Grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. 

 On June 15, 1963, she married the Love of her life, they were married for 61 years as in death they were parted until they are reunited once again at the coming of the Lord. She taught her children about the Lord and raised them to love even if they disliked others' ways. She loved her children and grandchildren bragging to others about ttheir accomplishments whenever possible.

She was a wonderful storyteller and could captivate children's and adults' attention while telling of Ole Ben the chicken snake in the corn crib and many other stories, she loved babies and little children in the last couple of years dubbing herself the “Wal-Mart Baby Inspector” so she could gaze to see and break out in a big smile giving each one a Grade: A+, getting smiles from the babies. She loved her family and enjoyed life. 

There will be a visitation on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 10am-11am at Star Baptist Church. Memorial service will be held Saturday at 11am also at the church.
