Sandra "Sandy" Seymore Morris

Sandra “Sandy” Kay Seymore Morris, lovingly known as “Mo” to her granddaughter and great grandchildren, 74, of Pearl, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2024 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be at Ott & Lee on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning one hour prior. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Sandy was born the baby of 5 children on June 18, 1949 in Stringtown, Mississippi to Lillie Mae Crow and Harvey Seymore. On December 9, 1977, she married Donnie Morris, and together they had one child, Melanie. Sandy worked at Baxter Healthcare in Cleveland, and moved to Pearl after her retirement. She was a Christian, and enjoyed her “joyrides” listening to gospel with her sister, Tincy. She also enjoyed her visits and long, endearing talks with her sister Ruth, as well as having her family over to watch game shows on the Game Show Network and playing with her great grandbabies.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Lillie Mae Crow Seymore and Harvey Seymore; sisters, Elizabeth “Sis” Durastanti and Joyce “Tincy” Robertson; and brother, Sonny Seymore.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donnie Morris; daughter, Melanie David and her husband Jay; granddaughter, Kaylee Bryant and her husband Zach; great grandchildren, Hazel Kay and Hayden Bryant; sister, Ruth McCullough; and a host of nieces and nephews.
