Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Cook will be conducted Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. from the Eastern Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Wyatt officiating under the direction of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cook, age 86, a longtime resident of Forest passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Lackey Memorial Hospital. She was a Baptist by faith and was a retired truck driver. She enjoyed fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Curt Cook; one grandson: Jason McKinley; her parents: Alex and Willie Ray Blakney Henderson; and one brother: Billy Henderson.
Survivors include two sons: Harvey McKinley, Jr. of Morgan City, LA and Dewayne Turner of Forest; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
