Chapel service: 1pm Friday from the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton.

Burial: Parkway Baptist Cemetery in Morton by Roosevelt State Park.

Roy Coyt Neese, a lifetime resident of Morton, Mississippi went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

Roy was born on August 29, 1950 in Leake County, Mississippi to James and Willie Neese. He was the oldest of six children. Roy was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He cut and hauled pulp wood for many years as well as logs for a number of years. Roy had a strong work ethic throughout his life.

Survivors include 4 children; Roy Neese, Jr. (Stacy) of Raleigh, Mississippi, Kim Bobowski (David) of Louisiana, Chris Neese (Janice) of Morton, Mississippi, Angie Graves (George) of Pearl, Mississippi; 8 grandchildren, Bethany, Chelsea, Ashley, Kasey, Sean, Bryanna, Madison, Peighton and 7 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Polly Thornhill (Vernon) of Woodruff, South Carolina, Janie Goss (Calvin) of Morton, Mississippi, Kathy Nazary (Ray) of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Willie Neese; brothers, Bobby Neese and Wayne Neese, and a beloved grandson, Justin Neese.

He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all. Roy's family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, support, and prayers from friends and neighbors during this time.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 5pm - 8pmand Friday, May 16, 2025 from 8:30 am - 12:30pm at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Funeral service will be on Friday, May 16th at 1 pm in the chapel of Ott and Lee with Rev. Vernon Thornhill, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Parkway Baptist church cemetery.

Friends and family serving as Pallbearers are: Davey Robinson, David Robinson, George Graves II, Jody McCurdy, Calvin Goss, Robert Hallman.
