Roger Lynn Blake

Roger Lynn Blake, 78, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at his home in Brandon, Mississippi.

Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi, followed by a graveside service beginning at 12:00 pm in Crestview Memorial Gardens.

Roger was born on December 4, 1947, in Morton, Mississippi, to Louis Turner Blake and Bessie Allen Blake. He served his country as a United States Army Specialist. He was an avid reader of books of all genres, and he worked as a mechanic for Mid-State Auto Parts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bessie Blake; sister, Sharon Jean Thompson; and brothers, James Nolan Westbrooks and Jerry Wayne Westbrooks.

Survivors include his son, Brian Blake (Loretta) of Scott County; Brian’s mother, Linda; grandsons, Josh and Jacob Blake; brother, Joe Lee Hayes (Linda) of West Springfield, MA; sister, Patricia Ann Smith of Brandon, MS; and many nieces and nephews.
