Robert Henry Ray

Robert Henry Ray, 94, passed away on Mon. July 20, 2026 at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Fri. July 24, 2026 at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mr. Ray was born on July 5, 1932 in Delaplaine, AR to the late Goah Ray and Ruby Williams Ray.

He is survived by his children, David Ray (JoAnn), Joletta Standley (Dale) and Lara McClintock (Scott); stepchildren, Michael Allen (Charlene) and Daniel Allen; sister, Wanda Hanes and two grandchildren, David Ray Jr. and Adrian Genotti (Anna). Mr. Ray is also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ray; grandson, Joshua Branham; 5 sisters and 8 brothers.
