Ricky Runnels

Mr. Ricky Runnels, age 66 and a resident of Morton passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel  with Bro. David Bryant and Bro. Joey Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Hodge Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the funeral home and from 8:00 am until 1:45 pm on Saturday.

Mr. Runnels was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God in Morton. He loved to eat and spend time with his family and friends around the table. Fishing was also a favorite past time.

He is preceded in death by his parents: James and Doris Runnels; sister and brother-in-law: Sandra and Rocky Wolf; and one step-son: Roy Hill.

Survivors include his wife: Joyce Runnels of Morton; and five children: James Jeffrey (Mellissa) Runnels of Brandon; Richard Jeremy (Lisa) Runnels of Brandon; Christina Weeks (Michael Phillips) of Morton; Fatasha Runnels of Morton; and Bruce Smith of Atlanta, GA; 12 grandchildren; one sister: Darlene (Kenny) Craig of Morton; several nieces and nephews and other friends and family.
