Rick Barrett, 63, passed away Mon. Feb. 29, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be held on Fri. March 4, 2016 from 1pm-2:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Memorial Services will be at 3pm on Fri. March 4, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.
Rick was born on Sept. 15, 1952 to Marie Fielder Barrett and Grant Barrett. He was retired from Truck Trailer and Equipment in Crystal Springs, MS where he had worked for 44 years.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Hartford; brother, Gerry Barrett; sister, Christy Barrett all of Nashville, TN and his step-mother, Kathryn Barrett of Brandon, MS.
Rick is survived by his son, Jason Barrett of Clinton, MS; daughter, Jaimie Barrett of Clinton, MS; father, Grant Barrett of Brandon, MS; sister, Sherry Bourke of Nashville, TN; step-sister, Marcia Bracken of Benton, MS; niece, Shelley Rhodes of Nashville, TN; his sweet dog, Belle and multiple friends.
Rick was an avid sportsman and awesome friend. He was dedicated to all who were fortunate to call him dad, son, brother, “step” brother and friend. You are at peace now and will be an angel for us all.
