Richard Lynwood Warwick

Richard Lynwood Warwick, 86, of Dallas Texas passed away on January 14, 2023. A memorial service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, July 13 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, Ms. Interment will be at Morton Memorial Gardens, no graveside service will be held.

He was born in Conehatta, MS on January 23, 1936 to Earl Warwick and Robbie Denson Warwick. He graduated from Sebastopol High School and went on to Mississippi State University to get his degree in Petroleum Geology. He met and married the love of his life, Mrs. Elaine Stone Warwick on August 2, 1957.

In his free time, Richard loved to go hunting and fishing, listen to music (specifically his favorite pop songs) and spend time worshipping at Prestonwood Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, he was very caring and compassionate to anyone he met.

Richard is survived by his wife, Elaine Stone Warwick; Nephews: Kip Stone (Sharon) and family; Sam Bryson and family; Nieces: Cami Stone Hill (Brian); Glenda Mitchem (Michael) and family; Lynn Ficquette (Bob) and family; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Frances Wilson, Gilbert and Dorothy Bryson.
