Richard Addison Hart, Sr., age 75, passed away at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS.  A Memorial Service will be at 6pm Monday at First Pentecostal Church of Brandon, MS.   

Mr. Hart was born in Tylertown, MS on March 24, 1949, to Remona Greer Whittington and Homer Hart.  He loved to go fishing, watching TV, and listing to Elvis Presley.  He enjoyed watching football, especially Ole Miss.   Richard loved his family, spending time with his grandchildren and he adored his little dog, Bella.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Edna Brown Hart; children, Ricky Addison Hart, Jr. (Charlene), Michael Wayne Hart, Steven Anthony Hart (Kim), and Lisa Diane Hempel (Chris); sisters, Debra K. Greer and Jenny Ruth Fuqua; grandchildren, Ricky Terry Hart, Courtney Nicole Hart, Brittany Gabrielle Hart, Austin Hart, Audrey Hart, Alexis Hart, Katlyn Shepherd, Hayden Hart, Jake Hart, Ethan Hart, Ashley May, Kristina Hempel, and Bradley Hempel; and 14 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Leonard Whittington; mother, Remona Whittington; and sister, Diane Lambert.
